I Highly Recommend for Gender Transformation Fans.

Five stars for sure.

Possibly some spoilers below.

I have only one negative, so I'll say it first. Personally I wish Sam would have settled for C cup size at the most. I've never been a fan of Double D.

Other than that the book is the best gender transformation I've read. Usually the transformation happens all at once, typically overnight. In this book, it happens part by part and, although I'm usually not big on magic, the magic in this story is believable. There is time to explore some feelings and face the reactions of others.

I could have missed some, but I caught not one spelling or word usage error and not one typo. There were just a couple places near the end where indentation seemed to be a bit of a problem.

I read the whole book in about one day, barely able to leave it for long.

It leaves you hanging a bit, with some mysteries yet to be solved, but sufficiently stands alone. I recommend.

Remember the one thing we all share.

New way to help and explain what can be a gut wrenching decision for some. Especially enjoyed the way the book deals with what I consider the inner shame that we all deal with rather we admit It or not. Shame keeps so many of us hiding behind locked doors and . We all deal with this differently but we all follow the same course, inevitably step out at different times. If we step out at all. The author take the subject at hand and I found the approach more than entertaining. As an old English professor told me was the way to sell books was easy. Find a difficult subject, explain it in a new way, and foremost write what you believe. From the heart. I the truly commend authors. Thank You. From my heart: Shelby Anne Collins

This was a really good book I loved it

This was a really good book I loved it. It was quite funny and reminded me a bit about myself. Sam was one of the most unaware person ill ever read about. The story ending was good as well. Penelope was a very funny character added to this story. I was happy to find out that somehow Miss Feleen was still alive. I wish that there was a trilogy on this book.

Master Autodesk Inventor 2013 - A good book

I had never opened the Autodesk Inventor application before purchasing Master Autodesk Inventor 2013. I needed a book that would work well for a complete beginner. This book is so far working great for me. I think if I had had some previous experience I would have been able to hop around the chapters but for me I started at the beginning of the book and am slowly moving forward.

I believe this is a good book for a beginner who wants to know everything about Inventor and has the patience to slowly work through the chapters. If you want to jump right into cool looking projects then this might not be the book for you.

I'm giving it 4 stars because I find it difficult to find info on certain subjects when I do want to jump forward.

About the Author
Dr Kandice Kottke-Marchant, MD PhD, Section Head, Hemostasis and Thrombosis, Department of Clinical Pathology, The Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Cleveland, Ohio, USA and President, International Society of Laboratory Hematology. She is also a Professor of Pathology at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine and an Adjunct Professor of Biomedical Engineering at Case Western Reserve University. She has published over 100 peer-reviewed publications in the field of haemostasis, is an international expert on platelet testing and aspirin resistance, and has served on review panels from the National Institutes of Health (NIH), College of American Pathologists (CAP), ISO/TC212 and North American Specialized Coagulation Laboratory Association (NASCOLA). She has been a driving force to increase the international visibility and impact of the ISLH. She has been responsible for running the ISLH annual Symposia since 2002. Due to her involvement in haemostasis and the ISLH, Dr. Kottke-Marchant will be uniquely positioned to serve as one of the co-Editors of the Textbook of Laboratory Hematology.

Elkin Simson, MD, PCAP, FACSP is the Medical Director of the Center for Clinical Laboratories and Hematology Laboratory at the Mount Sinai Hospital. He is also Associate Professor and Vice Chairman of the Department of Pathology at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, New York, NY, USA. Dr. Simson was formerly the Vice-President for Medical and Scientific Affairs at Technicon Instruments Corporation, where he participated in the development of the first automated haematology analyzers to combine the CBC and WBC differential into a single instrument. Dr Simson is the Past President of the ISLH and is Vice-President of the International Council for Standardization in Hematology (ICSH). He has been Chairman of the Hematology Area Committee of NCCLS (now CLSI), a member of Council of the National Reference System for the Clinical Laboratory (NRSCL) and the Hematology and Quality Improvement Subcommittees of the NCCCLS. He was a member of the Hematology and Pathology Advisory Panel of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Due to his long-time involvement in haematology automation and standards organizations, Dr. Simson is an idea co-editor.

The proposed section editors are chosen from international experts in their respective fields; most have also been long-time ISLH members who have been faculty at one or more ISLH Symposia and who have been repeatedly recognized as outstanding speakers and contributors by the participants. Dr Bruce Davis is one of the co-founders of the ISLH and has a long history of involvement in developing automated cellular and flow cytometric technologies. Professor Alberto Orfao from Spain is one of the world’s foremost experts on flow cytometry. Professor Samuel Machin is currently President of the British Society of Haematology and is an international authority on haemostasis testing. Stefanie McFadden is a medical technologist who is sought after as a consultant for laboratory management and informatics issues.

This book is focusing on the principles of laboratory haematology but you can't start using this book without having the fundamentals of haematology. The price is overrated.

A fuller approach to Christmas songs for the advance piano player.

A more fuller approach to Christmas classics. However this is more for intermediate to advance players. A high degree of fluidity in piano playing is required for the notes to sound even remotely like proper Christmas songs. Chords for guitar is also provided which is an added bonus. Not all books have this. Won't give it a 5 star only because of its price. It's a bit on the high side.

Surprising virtuoso twist on a class YA theme.

There are no specific elements in Dirk Hunter’s charming “After School Activities” that are different from those in any other YA/LGBT novel. But Hunter (this cannot be his real name) manages to take every classic ingredient and twist it slightly, surprising the reader and transforming the tried and true into something both poignant and engaging.

Disclosure: I bought this book entirely because of the redhead on the cover, who represents the main character, Dylan O’Connor. I have a profound thing for redheads and this cover is simply beautiful.

However, I gave this book five stars because of the exceptionally smart, funny writing and the sparkling characterizations that fill the book with life. It was a joy to read, making me laugh out loud and also making me tear up with emotion.

Dylan O’Connor and Adam Anderson have been enemies since elementary school, especially since fifth grade, when Adam made Dylan cry nearly every day.

As high school loomed, Dylan came out to his parents and decided the only way to defend himself from the constant homophobic onslaught of Adam and his posse was to fight back—with words. Adam and Dylan’s back-and-forth over the years has become legend, and has gotten them sent to the principal’s office countless times.

Then, in junior year, Dylan realizes that his long-term enmity with Adam might in fact have been masking something else.

What Hunter does brilliantly is to sidestep our expectations. Imagine a school where your best friends can intuit your every mood and read you like a book. Imagine a school where the most beautiful and popular kids (Charlotte and James) are also the nicest and most compassionate people in school. Imagine a world where the protagonist’s parents are funny, loving and entirely cool.

Imagine a world where your life-long best friend suddenly decides he’s comfortable with the idea of getting physical with you, even though he’s mostly straight.

Uh oh.

This is, strictly speaking, not young adult. Or, literally young adult and not intended for the middle-school age audience that “young adult” actually means. There is real, explicit sex in this book—and I hasten to add that it is used fiercely by the author to illustrate both the joyous horniness of teenagers, and the stark difference between sex-for-pleasure and sex-for-love.

This is also the first instance I have read of the phenomenon of a “mostly straight” guy; that is a young man who is really into girls, but being horny, self-confident in his sexuality, and profoundly fond of his gay best friend, is interested in exploring what gay sex might offer him.

I barely winced at all. I think I bought into it because of Hunter’s beautifully rendered characters, and the way he uses Malachi’s unexpected sexual curiosity to help Dylan realize the difference between emotion and hormones.

At the core of the book’s success is Dylan himself. He is a teenager, no question. He is self-centered and short-sighted; but he is also kind and caring. He hates lying and he doesn’t want to hurt people. He is a role model without being a goody-goody. He is also hilarious (to use a word that the author employs a lot) and embraces the strange role of GBFF (gay best friend forever) with flair and wit.

He is, in short, the way I wish I’d been as a teenager.

And then there’s the red hair. Sigh.

cute and unrealistic

The main character, Dylan, wasn't as well developed as he should have been. He's bright and funny and strangely has a lot of social juice without the background for it. An out gay kid, in HS, doesn't have the ability to keep the bullies away unless he's a jock, too. With his verbal skills, Dylan would also be in the Advanced Placement section/ classes along with Mel, Kai, Charlotte, James P, and possibly Adam. Only having those attributes would allow him the ability to keep the bullies at bay. Being an average student and a non-athlete would pretty much guarantee Dylan daily harassment/fights and dropping out with drug/alcohol abuse.

The drama with Adam's mother was not handled for its full effect. Most kids don't recover well from that type of situation, just ask Madonna. While I can see Tiffany helping the bros out at the end, her character needed a stronger relationship with both the guys to believably pull off the cafeteria scene. A food fight without a suspension or expulsion isn't realistic, either. To think that Will and his ilk aren't planning revenge on Adam, isn't realistic.
Dylan's parents are some of the best parts of the book. They should have had more development to show how Dylan turned out as well as he did.

This was a great story. But most importantly

This was a great story. But most importantly, this author is really great. He writes exceptionally well. I couldn't stop reading. I wish it hadn't ended, especially as the ending left things kind of up in the air as far as the future of the characters go. I wanted the story to continue and want at least 2 sequels to this book
I checked Amazon because I wanted to find and buy more books by Dirk Hunter, but unfortunately there are none, at least not on Amazon.

An excellent introduction to spoken and written French

As I write this, I'm a little over halfway through this program, and I am very pleased with it. The four CDs for use with the book are very clear and useful in helping to pronounce French correctly. The book is an excellent text-all points of grammar are explained clearly and plenty of examples are given to illustrate how to use the language correctly. The dialogues are easy to learn and very practical-they contain things that the average person would actually talk about when visiting a French-speaking area; topics such as food, shopping, buying train tickets, sightseeing, and so forth. The book also contains an excellent and useful appendix, which recaps points of grammar and has a section on letter writing.

So why four stars instead of five? My main criticism concerns the "Learn as you Go" CDs. I do not find these terribly helpful. They contain extra phrases like "The chair is made of mahogany" that the average user is extremely unlikely to need, and that with no transcription whatever, so it's hard to say if you've repeated it correctly or not. I think the "Learn on the Go" CDs could have been put to much better use recording the many grammatical examples in the text. In their defense, they do go over the pronunciation of new verb conjugations as they are introduced, and that IS very helpful. The space on these four CDs could, however, in general have been much better used.

The book does have a few minor flaws. For instance, in one early dialogue the year 1960 is said, at a point when only the numbers up to 19 have been taught (and in French, 1960 is said as one thousand nine hundred sixty). There are a few other things that would confuse a complete newcomer to French, though if you've had any exposure to French before the book won't give you any trouble. Even if you are completely new to French, I would still recommend this product. If you make it through the first few units it will go very easily afterward if you stick with it. Also, though the course is self-contained, I would strongly recommend getting a dictionary and a verb guide to go with it. Then you will have all the tools you need to learn basic French independently.

This course's few flaws are far outweighed by its many good points. It is enjoyable to use and very informative. It demands effort, of course-like everything worth doing. I believe this is the best self-teaching course for French available, and I look forward to moving on to the Advanced set soon.

Another French teacher who loved it!!!

I loved, loved, loved this package! In fact, I'll have to buy a new book soon since my old one is so worn out from nights of study and review. This set, to me, is so much better than Pimsleur. It all depends on what you wish to learn. Pimsleur is all audio, so from a purely conversion vantage it might be better for tourists, but it doesn't teach you the ins and outs of the language. Grammar is basic (sometimes non existent). This is the exact opposite. You learn the language properly, by learning how to build it noun by verb etc. It's the way that every child should be taught his primary language (but seldom is, hence Prof. Higgins' rant!). After completing this course (which, if you're studying it thoroughly, should be at the rate of a lesson a week), you will have all the tools you need to construct sentences in several forms of the past, present, and future, as well as having a very solid foundation for pronunciating (most students biggest complaint about French) correctly. I bought this set my senior year of high school to prepare me for college French, and I must say, I learned more from this set than I did all four years of high school French and the first year of college. If you really want to lay the ground work for French fluency, voici le livre!!!

INTRIGUING AND USEFEL

Very few books come by in one's life that impacts life itself. This is one of them. This truly stands amongst other fascinating books in history.
Shems Friedlander takes you on a journey from the most basic logical way of living to the most insightful understanding of the ***meaning of life*** itself. I couldn't believe my own eyes (and mind) as to how clearly and simply I was comprehending the most complex subjects of humanity, all told with many absorbing tales, delivered with a mastery of astonishing ease.
Either the author is justly a genius, waiting to be discovered by the world, or he is truly moved by God to produce such a masterpiece, or perhaps both.

This has been one of the most enjoyable books I have read over the past few years. I spent an evening reading the ancient tales to my parents, and for the first time in a very long time the evening became dawn without notice of time. I thank you Shems for this. The author's sincerity for the welfare of his audience is pouring out in every page. If you feel as though you are seeking a path to God, or just want to see life from a different angle, this book is for you.

The words are given in bold (example, the words belabor and buttress below). The meaning is given after the equal sign (=) following a word. The words are not necessarily in alphabetical order.

We have used the US spellings. The British spelling of a word, when different from the US spelling, is given in bracket after BRITISH as shown for the word belabor below.

USE gives a sentence fragment carefully chosen for memory. When no sentence fragment is given, a * is shown as in the word buttress below.

Very good content, Very good customer service.

I'm not native American, but I'm Korean.
So, I'm not familiar with many BASIC words for native English user.
(People whose mother language is not English may agree with this.)
There are book for ESSENTIAL 300 (or 500) GRE vocabularies, but it doesn't work for people not American.
Those people need to review whole words including BASIC words for GRE, not just a few ESSENTIAL words.
That's why this book is super awesome.
I've purchased several books and looked through them but no book has such many words like this book does.
As long as it doesn't include infinitely many words like dictionary, the more the book has words, the better it is.

I also need to mention customer service.
I'm using Kindle edition.
Kindle users may experience that content varies as you move through pages.
(Since Kindle use 'location' concept instead of robust 'page' concept to fit diverse devices.
So, you can possibly miss some vocabularies.
So, I asked them to number each words, (i.e., 365 accident, 366, acquire) and they immediately update numbering version.
I've never seen this good customer service.

If you're native or already so good with many vocabularies like TOEFL words, well, go with your own choice.
If you need to review or want to study as many words as possible,
I bet this book is the best choice for you !!!

Ive been a little rusty since undergrad years.. Found this book helpful in getting me up to snuff with those words you may have left on the back burner because you don't use them everyday... I think it would be helpful for SAT Prep too, certainly would increase a high school students scores who was looking to increase their scores and maximize opportunities for continuing education in general undergrad or graduate.

A great way to start studying for the GRE

I started my GRE prep with verbal, and I went over vocabulary before delving into prep questions. This book is an excellent resource for vocabulary found on the GRE. It's far more extensive than any other GRE vocabulary books or "boxes". Once I started working on practice questions, I found this list far more helpful than the other resources.
